Glorious Ninth at Port Eliot Lit Fest 2004
Flowers and Rationale by Glorious Ninth were presented as part of Artytechs
Parlour at the Port Eliot Lit Fest in St Germans, Cornwall.
Glorious Ninth presented a brand new version of their Tending
Triptych that includes aural visual pieces Flowers and Rationale.
This work which invited visitors to the Artytech Pavilion to
lay real flowers between the digital versions continues Glorious
Ninth’s voyage into the aesthetic network.
Port Eliot Lit Fest features a rich contemporary mix of writers,
poets, filmmakers, digital artists, sculptors and musicians,
this three-day event attracts a wide range of visitors, who can
enjoy the performances in 100+ acres of 18th century landscaped
parkland and walled gardens in the grounds of an ancient stately
home.
Hosted by Lord St Germans, the festival is organized by Catherine
Wilson, journalist and author, Simon Prosser, Publishing Director
of Hamish Hamilton, Rick Worthy, actor and musician and Robert
Hocking, digital artist and teacher.
