Dr Johnson is famous for writing one of the most influential dictionaries in the history of the English language, which was compiled and written on a large table at Gough Square in London and published in 1755.
The exhibition of Interactive Work-table and Escritoire presents a work developed by artist and UCF's lecturer Jason Cleverly in collaboration with Tim Shear and Celtic Internet.
The exhibition was organised in order to showcases the kind of work which is made by artists, designers and academics at University College Falmouth. The installation is an example of collaborative endeavour where different disciplines, schools, practices and media are employed to produce work which can be accessed in the exhibition space (Tremough Campus Library)and online at http://www.drjohnsonsgarret.net/
The exhibition is curated by Magda Tyzlik-Carver, iRes Research Assistant. |
